The RMIT Library is delivering one hour training sessions titled Getting CopyRight. These sessions cover the top five copyright issues experienced by academic staff when developing their courses in Canvas. These will be running at the City, Brunswick and Bundoora campuses all throughout March.

There is a session on this afternoon at Bundoora at 2.30pm and it’s not too late to register.

What you will learn:

  • The difference between open educational resources and commercial publications
  • Uploading and downloading on Canvas
  • Video hosting
  • The difference between copyright protected images and open images
  • The importance of attribution and academic integrity.

Head to Project Rewire’s Canvas Training page to register. To find out more about copyright, check out the RMIT Library Copyright Guide.

Thanks to June for providing this information.
