Recognising, valuing and celebrating Aboriginal students’ language backgrounds in teaching and learning

How do the diverse linguistic backgrounds of Aboriginal students impact on teaching and learning?  How can we promote equality in classrooms with students from different linguistic traditions? Many argue that translanguaging is key to helping Aboriginal students succeed not just in the education system, but in the broader community.

This two-day conference is designed for teachers and academics alike, in the classroom and in research.  This is a chance to share stories and perspectives so that a better understanding of this important topic is gained by all.
