In more staff news, Academic Services Coordinator (HE), Andrew Scarborough has announced his departure from the Bundoora campus to take up a role in the DSC College selection team.

Andrew first came to the School as a Bachelor of Education student in 2002.  And boy did we train him well! He graduated in 2005 and in 2006 did some part-time work as a research assistant in the School.  In 2007 he moved into a full-time ongoing role to support the higher education programs. His strengths include his extensive knowledge of the School’s programs, relevant governing policies and his data wrangling abilities. Andrew recently played an important support role in the SoE accreditation process.

Some of you may know that Andrew loves to share a joke and his comedic talents recently helped two colleagues pass some anxious moments while stuck in the B220 lift for almost one hour.  Andrew regularly participates in community theatre, a few favorites of his are Cosi, The Real Inspector Hound, and the Merry Wives of Windsor. Andrew is also a devoted Richmond Tigers fan and I’m pleased that his loyalty to the club finally paid off with an AFL premiership last year!

Andrew’s knowledge and expertise of student data, reporting and information will be greatly missed, as will his cheerful, courteous and friendly disposition. Our loss, is a gain to the college office. Andrew’s last day at the Bundoora campus is Monday, 4 June. Our very best wishes to you Andrew and we look forward to celebrating your SoE career before you leave us.
